Her innate ability to connect with students both in an individual and group setting is one of her natural strengths. Her effervescent personality mixed with her knowledge maximizes students learning potential and they have a good time doing it. She focuses on each player's personal abilities and athleticism and customizes their lessons based on that ability. Her honest and caring style creates a true learning environment. Suzy's goal for her students is to understand their golf swings and be able to self-correct for themselves. Her philosophy is to teach students to truly enjoy and play the game.
Her teaching knowledge was cultivated working side by side with world-renowned instructor Jim Flick. Jim also filmed his latest Golf Channel series with Suzy as a guest instructor. Her husband, and golf coach, Bill Whaley has also been instrumental in her ability to recognize student's abilities to improve. She also worked with top 100 teachers: Martin Hall, Mark Wood, Mike Malaska, Dein Reimuth, and Laird Small. Suzy is dedicated to helping golfers become better players. Players of all abilities are welcomed and Suzy can help them through customized group instruction, individual instruction and corporate golf outings.
